I finally came out to 6 of my friends!

Yesterday after school we have this art program I go to regularly with my friends. This time was a bit different, because one of my friends decided to ask me “what’s something you’ve always wanted to tell me?” And I responded “I’ll tell you when I’m ready.” I was always planning on coming out to him yesterday, but these messages set the stage. He kept asking and finally, I wrote him a message on a sticky note in Hindi because he knows Hindi ( obviously I used google translate). He looks at me. Looks back. And looks at me again and says, “No your joking” because most of the time we tell each other jokes about fake coming outs (it was my way to ensure he didn’t know I was bi). “This time I’m being serious.” I told him. He said “I’m gonna need some time to comprehend this.” Not in a homophobic way, but more in a “We’ve been friends for 7+ years. I never thought you were bi.” But after that things got normal. He asked me if I had any boy crushes. I told him I had a crush on a boy named Anthony (see one of my older posts). We had a chat about it for a solid 10 minutes. After that I told 5 more of my friends. They responded relatively the same. All-in-all, it was a good experience! I hope that you have a similar fate to me! Cheers!
