Boyfriend

Have you ever had an imaginary boyfriend? I live in a pretty homophobic place and meeting gay people is impossible and maybe because of that I have started developping feelings for a guy that is straight and my friend. I imagine he is my boyfriend and it's a cool fantasy but that's all it is (unfortunately). Has any of you experienced something like that? How did you get over it?
