Too early to consider LTR?

To keep it short, I'm an almost 20 year old student and am looking to have a date here and there. I've already checked out the LGBT scene on my campus (which is unfortunately pretty small, so I didn't really have any options there), so I figured the next logical step is to try something online since there aren't any bars in here or anything similar. I know most guys around my age are much more involved in hookups, so I'm finding most of the people on OKC to be around the mid-20s. Am I just looking in the wrong place? Is such an age difference an automatic rejection?I wish I could find more opportunities around here, but I currently go to a very small school in the middle of a rural area, so if all else fails I can just bide my time until I graduate and move to a more diverse area.E: I personally don't mind seeing someone years older than me, but I fear the age gap may cause some turbulence until I graduate/find a reliable source of income.
