The Infamous Grindr Block

Jeez, this app makes me feel all the ways sometimes. A guy my age hit me up earlier today and we spoke briefly. We joked about dicks at some point (as you always do, right..?) and I received a pic to which I made some joke but never returned the favour (boo me). He laughed and that was kinda it. I asked an hour later if he still wanted to talk to which he said, "yea you're cute and funny I'd like to meet you" so we spontaneously said we'd go out this Saturday. He asked if I top or bottom, to which I am always honest that "I wouldn't know yet" (saving it for Jesus, guys). He said some simple "oh ok" which really tells me nothing. I asked him about his preference and he responded. I then asked if Saturday's on, to which he said "Yea but I'll confirm", and I replied "Cool, sounds good!". All good in my world.Some 40 minutes later he confirmed so hard than the conversation disappeared. Classic. It pretty much can only be a block, or I guess a rage quit of the entire app. In the latter, more positive case, he didn't care enough to grab my number so either way this is some tragic shit. Now my Saturday's free and boring!?I guess the no dick pic/virgin things are killer, but why go along with it then? Just say no when I ask if Saturday's still a go. Guess I have to go out this weekend and meet someone in the flesh!? Is this commonplace for grindr? A friend says I expect too much which is probably valid, lmao. I guess I'm just putting out this vent post to see what my gay brethren have experienced haha.
