Could you guys help me out?

Hi I'm bi, and I'm also a sophomore in college. I have a close friend who is a guy and I think he might like me. Let me start off by saying that when I first meet my friend I was not attracted to him. He had a beautiful girl friend and he's had other girl friends after, But he could never hold a relationship. He told me after a breakup with one girl I thought he was really into that she just didn't feel right to him that she was nothing but a close friend to him. I didn't start getting these vibes that he might like me until a few years into our friend ship. Our friendship is nothing like the other relationships I have with other guys. He is my best friend and we are super close. Like we hug very often, we hang out EVERY day, one time we had dinner together he took a napkin and wiped whatever I had on my face off and it kinda scared me because I was closeted and still dealing with excepting myself. I'm just saying that he is very affectionate with me we have also told each other that we love each other a few times. I do like Alex a lot and I have these feelings for him but how can I know if he feels the same feels? I think I know the answer to my question but I wanted other opinions. What do you guys think?
