Being gay has made me depressed.

I've recently come out as gay for the past few months but nobody seems to want to date me. I've gotten dates with a few people but everyone gets sick of me after 2-3 weeks and they tell me I'm more just a "friend".I don't live in a big city so I feel alone, and like I've been on dates with everyone that's gay here.I've never been in a relationship and it makes me super depressed.
