What are creative ideas for a first date that don't cost any money?

Getting lunch/dinner, getting coffee, and seeing movies adds up after a while and feels like such a waste of money if it never goes to a 2nd date.The only one I can think of is a walk in a park/beach.Taking him back to your house sucks because it's too personal for a first date and implies a hookup over something more serious.Any ideas?
