Has anyone here seen Class?

In my media studies lesson we are study this tv series called Class. It’s a doctor who spinoff about a school of kids and general “doctor who” stuff happens (I don’t watch doctor who).Anyway, the main character of the series is an alien, but most importantly is OPENLY GAY! He and his boyfriend are actually one of the cutest couples in any film/tv shows and I love it! All my (mostly straight) friends (who know I’m gay) think I’m overreacting but they don’t realise how much we are underrepresented in the media, and when we are represented we often fall into certain cliche character types (The gay best friend,the gay guy just looking for sex,the closeted gay etc).It just makes me happy that we are finally starting to getting represented in the media but not as gay couples, just as couples.I just wanted to express my overall happiness with people who will understand.Just to be clear, my friends are SOOOOOOOO supportive but just don’t understand how I’m feeling.If your curious just google “Charlie and Mattesz” and it should come up.See ya lads.
