Gay Dating Tips for a Serious Relationship?

Hi all. Can I get some tips on how to have a serious gay relationship? Also I have a few questions.I went on 1 date with a guy yesterday and I think it went well. We're both tired of using apps where guys email us nude pics, we don't want to do random hookups, and we want to take it slowly. I kindof like him, and I don't want to mess it up (like I usually seem to). We have tentative plans to go out again for dinner.1: I'm not sure if I'm texting him too much? He tends to respond right away, should I wait longer to reply?2: How soon should we plan the second date?3: When somebody says "Take it slow", do you think that means "A few months", or "A Year", or "After 5 or 6 dates"? ... Sorry, my little brain is getting the better of me. :(All of my past attempts at relationships have failed because of gay-bullying, or it turned he just wanted to hookup, or I was too eager for sex, or he just wasn't interested. I don't want to be NSA any more but I'm having trouble figuring out how to do it with SA.
