Being gay in South Korea?

So I was wondering if you'll have any troubles if you are publicly gay in SK. I already read through the posts about this on this and other subreddits, but could only find ~2 year old information! I'd love to go there, when I finished studying, but if it's a problem being gay there, then I propably won't haha.If anyone got any experiences to share, I would be really happy :D
