Extremely nervous about going on first date

To give a background, I've never done this before.I've always loved guys and recently came to terms with my sexuality. I just cannot take the step to going on a date. I've grindr and met a few cuties so I have the option, just terrified.How did you guys get over the first hurdle, or, do you have any advice for me? I desperately want to, just can't work up the courage.
