How did you get over a straight crush?

Every time I see him, go near him or talk to him my heart races and my speech isn’t right. To me and my other friends he does give off a gay vibe and has said he would “fuck a hot male celebrity not just anyone off the street has to be a celebrity” and he has being hanging around and talking to me more after I came out. He seems to be flirting to me but that could be him just messing with me or my brains confirmation bias. I should also note he was homophobic before I came out but since then has being really close to me. What should I do?
