Dad

Original post: http://ift.tt/2yaklbL my dad and I had a big talk today and he said he accepts me but begged me not to tell other people especially not in our neighbourhood because they wouldn't understand. He then started apologizing for being a bad parent( which to his belief lead to me becoming gay; and btw he was also the best parent you can think of) and told me his initial reaction was caused by his fantasies and desires and expectation for my life being crushed. He said he dreamt of seeing me get married, of having grandchildren and the reality hit him real hard at first but that it's my life and he accepts he will never get those things and that I am not obliged to follow his expectation of what things should be.
