What do I do about my crush?

I'm don't have a lot of friends exactly and usually I hang out with this small group of people. In this group one of them is also gay and I have no idea why and it bugs me but I have a crush on him that I can't get over. I know it won't work between us and he's into someone else yet I still can't get rid of it. :(I can't just stop hanging out with him because then I would loose all of my friends yet hanging out with him always sucks cause I want more but can't, what can I do?P.S. I'm also pretty sure everyone has figured it out at this point which sucks even more...
