feeling unknown

My best friend and I had a major altercation about 4 months ago which was due to a depression problem I had not had treated yet and had nothing to do with him, but I took it out on him. He told me in December that we were cool then proceeded to be distant. All of a sudden this past Monday I get a FB message (I had been ghosted til this) that said "I'm sorry I've been cold and distant to you lately. If you ever wanna talk, let me know." So I replied that was cool just let me know, which he replied maybe this weekend or something, I'll let you know." I asked him about it again yesterday and he said like I told you in the message I'll let you know. Saw him tonight too and didn't mention it. He's not gay but knows I am and we've been through a lot together. I don't understand why he sets me up to meet up and reconnect then throws water on it.
