How do I find someone to spend life with?

Open question, don't know what to expect.I'm 23, not out, in Europe, student and extremely introvert as well as shy. I don't want to just hook up and I'm afraid that I could get heavily attached to someone without response, one of the main reasons why I didn't even try yet. However, As the years pass, the loneliness gets worse, so I should probably do something about it. Nobody came and nobody will come when the only time I get out of my flat are when I attend University lectures or get groceries.
