DOES HE LIKE ME TOO? Friendship or secret love?

Hey reddit!I'm a 19 yo and I really like a guy who's in my course. We studied together now for 5 months+ and are really becoming good friends. He is tall, blond and really cute. He is funny, stupid, smart, introvert basically he is for me the perfect complement. We talk everyday and really 'understand' each other.I've never fell in love with a man but now. I would do 'anything' for him (yes, it does sound like a film cliché; and yes it is true !).Sometimes we have really long eye contacts. We just sit there and 'stare' at each other for a few minutes. It gets really powerful and intense and we both look deeply at each other and sometimes start to giggle because ........ well i don't know. When I look at him I genuinely feel something but don't know if it is only from me or if he feels the same.I'm not out. He is not too (but I don't even know if he's gay/bi too). We both come from quite conservative backgrounds so coming out to one another would be soo hard / nearly impossible.How do you know if someone likes you? Do people feel the same during long eyes contacts? I need to move on but it's hard. I really like this guy and really rarely like someone the way I do him.Please, someone, give me advice. Any similar experience? Or simply your point of view as an outsider?
