Confused crush?

So this guy, claims to be straight. He knows I like him, he is fine with that. But he does some real gayish stuff towards me as if they were jokes, basically just teases the shit outta me. Anyways, asked him out on a date, well he didn't say "no" or "yes", basically just made some excuse (sadly legit ones), aand changed the topic.. l mean, things would get a whole lot easier for me to move on if he just said "no" or not interested, and from the way he replied he seemed kinda interested (by maybe not now, kinda like that) idk it's confusing for me. From the beginning, he just aviods to reply any answer, he just gives neutral answers and jokes it out..
