FWB really all that common?

I read a lot of posts here, and it seems like there's a ton of guys out there with friends with benefits, like it's a totally normal thing. Now, I won't claim to be some great looking dude, but people have confessed attraction to me before, and I think I look alright- I'm gay, and my two closest friends are bi, yet there's no sexual involvement whatsoever. They've never come on to me- we have very happy, platonic relationships, and the idea of "getting with them" is just weird.Of course, you do you, so on so forth- my friends know I don't do casual sex, so it all works out. I ask though because I'm interested in branching off and getting involved more in the gay community- should I expect this sort of thing from other guys I become friends with? I'm not so sure I want a part in that.
