Gay men of reddit, I have a dilemma...

So I'm 18 and I have always loved older guys. Im talking like 35-45 range. I would totally date one but I know my family will not approve at all. It also worries me that they are attractive now but would I really wanna be 40 and have to take care of him when he's 60?!?! I'm Still attracted to guys in their 20s which is more what my parents would approve of but to be honest I don't feel the same spark or excitement with them as I do when I'm with an older man. Any thoughts?
