We're creating a game about being gay in the U.S and we need your help! :)

Hello We're a group of swedish game students in the process of developing a game regarding homosexuality in the US.Our goal is to make our players emphasize and learn more about the struggle that gay people have had since the 50's.We aim to make a game that doesn't feel fictional, and thats why we need your help.Game idea: The game is text-based. The player will follow a gay couple, from a young age in the 50's all the way to 2015 and the legalization of gay marriage. The player will choose how to act in certain social conflicts and discriminations. Depending on how the player acts he/she will be put in different cases of invalidation.We want to make every possible case based on actual experiences from gay victims and provide sources of actual crimes in form of a portrait/story and date, or newspaper article. We believe that people have a tendency to fictionalize anti-gay crime and want to make it realistic.We are trying our best to find documented cases, articles and interviews but we ask for your help to find more. Crimes or stories (with sources) between 1950-2015. We also want to know if there is anything you guys feel would be really important to add.Thanks!
