Curious and dont know how to start

Hi. Im a curious straight white male living in Charlotte, NC. I have always wanted to try things with guys, but I have never had the opportunity to do that. All I want is a guy to be very comfortable with, and discreet, and just see how far I would go. But I dont know where to start. I responded to a Craig's list add and that was a nightmare.Please, I need advice.
