Gay guys in fraternities--what was/is it like?

Hey, Reddit. As a closeted gay teen who is on the college hunt and might want to be in a fraternity, what was it like for you? Did they know you were gay? Was there a lot of awkward one-sided sexual tension? Just want to know what the experience was like, so I can know what to be prepared for.
