Anyone else every wonder why more people never suspected you of being gay before you came out?

I'm pretty much a normal guy that passes for a straight guy. But just recently I've been wondering, although I easily pass for being straight when I wasn't out when the question of girls came up I felt super awkward to the point where now I look back and wonder how people never noticed. This came into my head when I watched an interview with Gus Kenworthy before he came out (should check out his Instagram, has hot pictures ;) and notice how he gets really awkward when the subject of girls comes up and then relaxes when the topic changes. Anyone else feel like at times like that it was obvious that you were hiding something, yet no one noticed?
