What early signs were there of your sexuality?

When I was little, my parents pulled out the Guess Who? board game. Me being little and unaware of what my parent's reaction would be, I said I thought one of the male characters looked cute. I don't know if this was an early sign, but I remember my parents looking shocked when I told them this. They told me that's not what guys are supposed to say and that I'm only supposed to find girls cute. I also never had any interest in girls at a young age, and never felt the need to ask one out.
