Have you ever fallen for a guy who you have bad sex with?

So I’ve been dating this gift who I was initially friends with. We went on one date then realized we were both bottoms. So we just became friends. Over the year we got closer and closer and now we are dating. Honestly I love the guy but I do not want to have sex with him. It’s just so frustrating. I feel bad for him when he initiates sex because it’s just so hard for me to reciprocate and I can always tell he knows I’m not super into it. Cuddling with him is amazing. Hangin our with him is amazing. Our friendship is amazing but the sex is just bad. I’m not an open relationship kind of guy. So what should I do?
