Yesterday was perfect.

So yesterday, I finally went on my first date with a guy. I don't think I've ever been so nervous in my life. It was our first time meeting in person. He picked me up and we went to eat italian food. Soon after, we went to the movies. We were there for a bit and I wanted to hold his hand so bad, but I didn't want to make him uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure he could see how I was trying to work up the nerve to because my hand was constantly moving and he was sort of moving his closer also. While nervously moving my hands around I accidentally brushed up against his and he grabbed mine. I can't even explain the feeling, it's like my heart shot out of my chest. We continued to hold hands throughout the movie and when we were leaving. The night was still young so he asked what there was to do but I was clueless as it was a Sunday and everything was closed. I suggested we go to the lake so we did. We walked around for an hour or so holding hands and talking about things. I was so happy to find tons of things we had in common. I don't think I've ever been so happy. Sadly after that it was over and that's pretty much all that happened, but I'm overwhelmed with emotions. I think it's still up in the air on whether we'll be going on a second one, he mentioned it and I agreed, but I'm not sure if it'll follow through. Nevertheless, it was definitely one of the happiest moments of my life.
