Bottoming and Poppers?

So I’ve recently joined the bottoming train and it’s been awesome so far, but my boyfriend is quick thick and it tends to be painful in the beginning. I’ve heard poppers help with this and loosening things up down there. I was hoping to get some others experiences with bottoming using poppers, as I haven’t done it before. Thanks!
