My "progressive" mom is secretly homophobic

A few years ago, my mom kicked my dad out. She found his Reddit account and read of his comments on gay subreddits (some of which mention her being a narcissist, which is kind of true.) I understand how fucked up being married for 25 years with no intimacy is, but some of the shit she says about him nowadays just comes off as homophobic. Like it doesn't happen with straight people all the time. And it's not like she didn't use him for his health insurance all those years, only to throw him out like a bag of garbage once he got laid off.
