Blocked

Hey all,I have a close friend that I’ve known for years, this past summer we reconnected and had a great friendship. I knew feelings would get in the way at one point, unfortunately he fell for me and I didn’t reciprocate the feeling. About two weeks ago we hung out as usual and went our separate ways, the next morning I woke up to a drunk message from him at 4 AM confessing his feelings for me and asking if we could try for a relationship. Obviously that’s not something I’m going to respond to at four in the morning, so I brushed it aside, caught up on some sleep and messaged him when I woke up. I tried to let him down nicely, saying that I appreciate his feelings but I don’t feel the same way and I still want to be friends with him. He ended up blocking me on every social media possible, it’s an incredibly childish move but I still want to have contact with him. I just don’t know what to do :/
