Is the business name "Super Gay Underwear" offensive?

What does everyone think about this? My friend recently started this underwear company that he's trying to recruit me for but I'm not sure if the name is offensive or not. I am a gay man but I'm typically never offended by anything so wanted to see what you think. On one hand his mission is to empower the gay community by inspiring people to fearlessly be themselves, but on the other hand I fear he may be perpetuating a stereotype... Ok your thoughts??
