Don't like anyone

Hmm.. I just find it really hard to like people or have crushes. Like I get crushes like one in 3-4 years or something, and so far non of them were gay.And told a guy I liked him last week, he told me he is not gay and weirdly I am not upset at all. Although I did really really like him. Is it normal to feel not upset about rejection? also this is the first time I ever told someone....
