17 and very lonely...

so recently i've been feeling extremely lonely and rather empty. being in high school still, it's pretty upsetting seeing all my friends getting in relationships, hooking up, going on dates and etc. one of my main things is that i feel like there's no one left for me... at dances im merely that guy that grinds awkwardly with my friends until they find another guy (a straight boy who is actually down with what's between their legs) to dance with leaving me all alone. my question is, do i use hookup apps like grindr to find guys in my area or just stick it out???
