Having a hard time

I don't know where to start, but from the beginning. I have always been in the closet, even now, to the point where my experience with a meaningful relationship is close to none. There is a guy that I recently met on Grindr and hopefully he sees me the same way as I do with him. We have already gone to our second date, which was quite enjoyable. However,.....I don't know when I am able to ask him out not as a date but for him to be my boyfriend.
