Clingy-ness. Thoughts?

So I can admit that I am a pretty clingy person when I meet a guy that I like. I think it stems from me coming out relatively late (senior year of college) and not having a relationship yet. I think I get so excited when I meet a guy that I like, I kind of just like having someone to constantly talk to. But I think that scares a lot of guys away, which I can understand. Anyone else relate to this? Any advice or thoughts?
