What is the best way for me [23M] to find somebody to experiment with?

Pretty much exactly what the title says.I've known for quite some time that I'm queer, but the opportunity to mess around with a guy has never really 'come up', if you know what I mean.I'm just looking for a safe environment and person to kind of do whatever. I'm not super involved in my community's LGBT2Q+ scene, but I live in a pretty small city.What are you experiences with this sort of situation? What advice can you pass on to somebody newer to this?
