Fountain pens

As a gay man, I do a lot of unusual things when compared to straight peers. But, one of the most unusual things that I do is use fountain oens. I know that fountain pens aren't completely uncommon, but I never seem to find other people interested in them. Except for some of my gay friends. My fiancee loves them, many of the people I meet at bars love them... so, I guess I asking: are fountain pens a gay thing?
