Chechnya Petition for UK redditors

If you live in the UK there is a petition on the government website calling on our government to "Publicly confirm that gay men from Chechnya can seek asylum in the UK."Signing the petition will help raise awareness of the situation there in the general public and put pressure on our government to do something especially in the run up to the general election. There are several petitions I could have linked to but I picked this one as it specifically mentioned asylum and had the most signatures. It's only open to UK residents and citizens. If you're not from the UK and your government has a similar system please consider signing petitions there or start a new one if none exists.
