Is it a date?

Ok so idk if any queer girls can help me out on this one but here goes. Bear in mind that we are both teenagers. So backstory: I’ve been chatting up one of my classmates. She is gay and knows that I’m pansexual, and we’ve been having a pretty fun time together. We were at a party a few days ago and we danced together, she wore my jacket when it was cold and we spent 2 and a half hours just talking. The week before that we were at a get-together and someone dared us to kiss (never happened though), which my friend says that means other people can also see chemistry between us. Later, I got her number from a mutual friend. Yesterday I gathered up the courage and made some plans with her. Tuesday we’re going to hang out with a group of friends at a fair nearby. The thing is, as much as I hope it is, I’m not sure if it’s a date or if it’s a friend thing. Can someone help me out? I’ll provide more information if needed.
