Would you join the military?

It's just a thought. My father was a veteran and I was just thinking because I have so much free time I could at least try it out, but I don't know. Most likely won't.I'm in the United States and they say the military is very open minded now, but I still don't know.As a gay male, I'm not really that masculine and I'm very tactile so I don't know if I would fit in with the macho aspect of it.I have thick skin, but fish stay in the water, and birds fly up in the air so I don't know. I don't know if the military is the best choice for a guy like me.What do you guys think? Would you join?
