I might have to accept that I'm never going to be my boyfriend's priority

After 6 months of dating, everything about him is great as far as personality, except he's constantly busy and travels a lot for work. For example, I haven't seen him in 8 weeks because he was away.He came back last night at 9pm and told me "I'm not sure when I'll be able to see you. I have another gig lined up for Sunday and Monday and Saturday I have a prep meeting. Maybe we could squeeze something in? I probably won't see you until next weekend. Busy life."I mean, I get that he's busy, but I just can't understand WHY he can't dedicate at least ONE hour of his time this weekend to see me, especially after missing him for more than a month. If he's willing to wait another week to see me, I see that as a sign that I'm never going to be his priority. His career and his friends are always going to be the first thing in his mind and I will always come in second.
