Weird atmosphere after coming out

I came out to my mom like an hour ago, she hugged me and told me she loves me no matter what and all that, which is great don't get me wrong. But I've noticed like we are both trying to be super natural and it's like we're trying too hard to be natural, obviously this is a good thing but I just don't like the atmosphere, which I know sounds weird. Has anyone else felt this "atmosphere" or is it just a me thing?
