I feel like I don't have anyone to talk to

I'm 20 years old and I've known that I'm gay for a long time. Trouble is, I live in a small town, going to a local college, and I've never had the chance to connect with another gay guy, even just as a friend. I haven't tried any dating sites because I don't really know what to do or expect, to be honest. I don't have a car anyway, so even if I did meet someone online meeting them in person would be tricky. Can anyone here offer some advice? Or is anyone interested in talking with me?
