Homosexuality in media

I just finished watch the film King Cobra. It's basically a film and gay porn and it got me thinking about what are the best and worse portals of gay culture in tv and movies. I think of a film like this and then think of how my parents or other people who are even kinda conservative would think this portrays how 'disgusting' and 'sex-based' gay culture is. I know there are definately more hook-up based culture with is something i don't really subscribe to but don't judge. I even look at the cast and realized pretty much all of the lead are not (openly or at all) gay which kept me think about whether it was an good portrayal of not. Some of my personal favorite media was gay characters in it are Glee and The Real O'Neals. I just like them because I can identify with them more I guess. Also I LOVE the fact that they show how people can be gay and christian in the O'Neals because coming from a conservative family, I think Christians desperately need to realize that. So what do you guys think? Or what are your favorite gay themed movie/tv show(I just need some more stuff to watch honestly)?
