What is a simple way of going to get tested for STDS and HIV and how long should I wait after the encounter to get tested?

It's been a very long since I tried bottoming (years) and this time I didn't use a condom. He pulled out before he finished.So since I didn't use protection obviously I have to get tested.When I was in college it was very simple to get tested but now that I am back in the real world the doctor I see has this laborious process of setting up appointments to see the doctor and all that stuff.Where can I go to be tested for STDS? The doctors place I go to doesn't make it clear on how to setup testing for STDS and HIV.Also, how long should I wait to be tested for it to be accurate?
