Is he into me??

So there is this guy at school and we met 3 months ago. We used to sit beside each other for about half the semester. I thought he was ugly at first but as I got to know him I started to like him. He's a really sweet guy. I notice he looks at me all the time. Even when I'm not looking. Friends tell me that he always looks at me. He was always doing things to get my attention. For example throwing things or poking me in the back etc. He was always telling me wat to do like what to put in my hair, how to save money. He also showed me his muscles one time. So 2 months had passed and I finally got up the courage to tell him I like him...and his response was " I don't go that way and I never will " but I don't believe that. Every time his friends were around, he would talk to them and not me. But me and his friends get along well and when ever Me and them would have a conversation he would but in and say " what y'all talking bout?" He still continues to look at me. Sometimes he just stares. Sometimes we could be standing in the lunch lines and he would be in the line across the room and I would catch him staring. I know one time last week he glanced and smiled. Me and his friend did a test on him to see if he would look for example I bent over to "pick up a piece of paper" and I get back up and his friend was dying laughing because he was looking at my butt a little bit then he turned his head. Me and my cousins also went to his job to do some shopping and I didn't even know he was there. But when I came in that's when he came out. And my cousins look at me and say his eyes are following you. I was like Omg. He doesn't text me. But I always end up texting him first. Maybe he's not sure of himself, maybe he's downlow, I know he's a little shy. But what I really want to know is.....does he like me?💕🙏🏾
