Boyfriend is crazy about makeup, I'm not

So about a year into my relationship, my boyfriend got super into makeup. I've never paid attention to it because it hated it when my mom would drag me to Ulta with her when I was 10 because I thought everything was girly. Fast forward to 21, I still can't get myself out of that mindset and to be as supportive as I want since it's such an expensive hobby and he has no problem approaching one of their employees but can't call about tuition money he owes. Any advice to get through a stubborn person's head? 😩
