Losing gay friends because they have boyfriends

Kinda breaking down tbh..I used to have a gay best friend I've known all my life, tbh the only one I still spoke after so many years. But he has a boyfriend, and I know he's afraid he will get jealous so he cut contact with me. It hurts..
