Help for a poly new to gay relationships

Hi all,I'm a bi guy who's new to dating men and a little unsure how to proceed. I'm turning to the wisdom of Reddit. I met a guy on OKCupid. He and I texted back and forth for an evening. One of the things I told him during our text thread was that I wanted to move slowly. I'm not terribly experienced with sex with a man and am also looking for a stable healthy relationship in addition to my long term, stable marriage. He seemed to understand at the time. We videochatted this evening and he asked me to take off my clothes so he could look at me. I declined. Later in the conversation he asked to have a date with me, which seemed a little fast. He also talked about having me over to his house. I'm concerned that he's just looking for a hook up and isn't really listening when I say that I'm looking for a emotional connection prior to intimacy. What say you, Reddit? Am I right in thinking this is a hook up only to him? Any insight ya'll can share is appreciated. Cheers
