I need some help responding to TBM critics!

Apart from the fact that I've left Mormonism, my extended TBM family believe my future is much darker and less celestial than theirs because I'm gay.

A couple have actually been willing to talk about this, to some extent. Here's the problem, though.

There are lots of credible and, IMO, persuasive arguments showing that every basis for Christian objection to homosexuality is wrong (e.g. shellfish are an "abomination" in Leviticus too, etc.).

But for Mormons exclusively, there are other reasons beyond the Bible:

  1. The Doc & Cov is clear that only straight temple-sealed couples will be exalted, so this blessing is not available to same-sex couples;

  2. God is "an exalted man", said Joseph Smith, and while we don't know anything about her, we believe God is married to our Heavenly Mother, not another Heavenly Father;

  3. God loves everyone equally and created everyone with equal capacity to get to the celestial kingdom if they make the right choices, so anything that seems to disqualify people intrinsically from a chance at exaltation must be just a temporary temptation and not an intrinsic part of their nature, therefore homosexuality is NOT permanently intrinsic or made by God, and must be resisted, even knowing what the costs will be in mortality (celibacy, loneliness);

  4. The living prophets have all condemned it, and their words trump whatever confusing references may be in the Bible.

None of the apologetics out there which address general Christian objections to homosexuality even begin to approach answering these uniquely Mormon reasons for opposing The Gay. What say you, redditors? How would you respond to these peculiarly LDS reasons for homophobia? Any input would really help me deal with my TBM family. Thanks!
